Functional Friction

Functional Friction brings together artists and designers working at the intersection of art and design. The exhibition examines how objects can operate as utilitarian items, autonomous artworks (l’art pour l’art), or hybrid forms activated by the artist or the audience. Rooted in a functional approach, the works engage in a material investigation that questions the boundary between utility and aesthetics.
